Max numbers

Postby Worff » Thu Jun 03, 2010 14:59

EQRoster version: 4.3.3

PHP version: 5.2.8

MySQL Version: 5.0.90-community-log

URL to roster: http://www.tribalfury.org/eqroster
====================================

I know you might not want to mess with the roster anymore, but if you happen to know a quick fix for this it would be helpful :)

The issue is listing Character Statistics, and the HP and Mana seem to be capped at 32767. (see below)

When I edit a member and choose eqplayerupdate, it works and shows the correct HP and Mana...

However once you click submit to save the changes, it switches bask to 32767 max on HP and Mana...

I looked in class.character_statistics.php and the maxes seem to be set at 99999...

Code: Select all

   // Member variables
   var $theSkin;
   var $bShowVerticalScrollbars   = true;
   // Max Roster values
   var $nRosterMaxHP            = 99999;

So, I'm puzzled as to why it resets to 32767 /boggle. Please let me know if I'm missing something easy hehe... thanks!

My first guess is the type of database field. Those are probable integers, and have to be upgraded to something higher.
I will take a look at it next week and post an upgrade.

The following update should fix the problem:
- Open the roster database in your MySQL maintenance tool (for example phpMyAdmin)
- Select the characters database
- Change the following fields from smallint(5) to mediumint(5)
HP
Mana
Endurance

That should fix it.

Alternatively, an update will be released shortly that includes an updated sql script to do the same for you.
EDIT: The roster has been updated to v4.4.0, including this fix.

Regards,
Michaël
